THE MASTER AT WORK
Pasquale Sardone was born in Altamura on 7 July 1979 and grew up in Poggiorsini, where he cultivated a passion for music and musical instruments at a young age
In 2001, he moved to Cremona to attend Antonio Stradivari, the International Lutherie Institute, where he learned the basics of bowed instrument making under Maestro Giorgio Scolari.
In 2005, he completed his studies, graduated, and began his apprenticeship at the workshop of Giorgio Grisales, under the guidance of the Maestro and his nephew Ricardo. During these years, he developed and deepened his interest in cellos and double basses.
In 2013, he opened his own workshop in Persico Dosimo, Cremona, focusing on the construction, repair and restoration of musical instruments.
In 2017, he established his business in the city of Cremona, at 41 Via Aselli.
His production is constantly evolving through studies and insights into the different classical and contemporary schools, varnishes and shapes, to achieve the perfect balance between aesthetics and sound.
